Remembering this Moment

While standing in the crowded subway car,

I felt someone's gaze and looked up

Instantly our eyes met, and our gaze held for a second

We shyly looked away, only to look back at each other

He slightly smiled, did a small wave, and mouthed "Hi."

I smiled too and timidly waved back

He mouthed "How are you?"

I gave him a thumbs up which made his smile grow wider

I pointed at him and tilted my head

He gave me a thumbs up too

He pulled out a large notebook and thick marker

He wrote "You're cute. ^^ "

I blushed, shook my head, and mouthed "Am not!"

He quietly chuckled when we both jumped

At the sound of the PA system talking

He frowned when he heard his destination

When the doors slid open, he timidly blew a kiss to me

And stepped out

The doors shut closed and as the train rushed away,

I waved bye

Though we may never meet again,

I'll never forget this sweet moment

I can't help but wonder if he will always remember this moment…
